Introduction:

The Mission of the Library is to acquire, manage, provide and disseminate health sciences information to students, faculty, and research scholars of the college.    

Classification Scheme:

The library has followed Dewey Decimal Classification for classification of books.

Opening hours:

The library is open from 8.00 A.M. to 8.00 P.M. on all working days.

Infrastructure:

Area: The library is spread in 570.91 Sq. meters with following break down.

Reading Hall Capacity:

The library can accommodate 100 students, faculty and users at a time. Students are advised to use this study during the off hours of classes and practical.

The Central Library has setup departmental libraries in each department and also in the hospital Emergency department.


In-house database:
Library has created non-numerical databases of its collection using CDS/ISIS 1.5 (build 3) for Windows is under construction and the circulation and other data is controlled using Library Manager Software.
